Chocolate Cream Cheese Cupcakes. In a large bowl, combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; gradually beat into sugar mixture. Fold in chocolate chips; set aside.
Add in remaining ingredients and mix until smooth. Fill cupcake liners half full of cake batter. Beat at medium speed until smooth and spreadable.
In the mixing bowl of a stand mixer, beat together the ingredients for the filling (except the chocolate chips) until light and fluffy.
Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt in a medium bowl.
Make a well in the center; add water, oil, vinegar, and vanilla. In a different bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Add egg, beating well; stir in chocolate morsels.
