Chocolate Covered Bacon Recipe. Brush onto both sides of six bacon strips; sprinkle with toppings as desired. While bacon is cooling, place chocolate in the top of a double boiler over simmering water.
Cook bacon and allow to drain and cool. Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper and place an oven safe cooling rack on top. Blot away excess grease with paper towels.
Take freshly hot and cooked bacon.
Let excess chocolate drain off before setting on wax paper to cool.
Dip each slice of bacon into the chocolate to coat (use a fork to scrape off any excess) and place on waxed paper on a plate or baking sheet. Remove the bowl from the double boiler. Dip half of the bacon strip in the chocolate mixture.
