Test for doneness using a toothpick. To make the cake: In a large mixing bowl, beat together the butter, oil, sugar, vanilla, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until smooth. Stir in oil, vanilla, zucchini, pecans, chocolate chips and orange zest.
In another large bowl using a handheld or stand mixer fitted with a paddle or whisk attachment, beat the oil, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, sour cream, vanilla, and zucchini together until combined.
Add sugar, and continue beating until well blended.
Stir in zucchini, just until combined. Let the cake cool for ten minutes before inverting onto a plate. In a large bowl, cream peanut butter, butter and brown sugar until blended.
